How did you get started in dance, and were there any specific moments or people that inspired you to pursue it professionally?

I started dancing at the age of 2 doing ballet and tap at my local dance school. I was really lucky to have parents and teachers who saw potential in me early on, they encouraged me, pushed me, and sacrificed a lot so I could train with the best. Their belief in me made me believe in myself. Over the years, I’ve had so many incredible teachers and influences, but honestly it’s always been the passion I have for dance itself that’s kept me going. It’s never been just a hobby, it’s always felt like home.

Name some muses that keep you motivated — not specifically dancers.

I’m inspired by a lot of things, emotion plays a big part in my choreography and I often build from a feeling first. I also take inspiration from a wide range of dance styles, which has helped shape my own recognisable style in heels. I find pole dancers incredibly inspiring too, their strength, control, and artistry is next level, which is why I love being part of CXIX. Watching that level of athleticism pushes me to work even harder.

What does a usual day look like for you when you’re dancing?

Every day’s different but usually includes a mix of teaching privates, creating in the studio, running my weekly classes and doing the less glamorous bits like admin and cleaning (studio owner life lol). I also spend a lot of time filming content and planning future projects so it’s definitely full on!

Can you share a unique or memorable moment you’ve had whilst dancing?

Opening my own dance studio has definitely been one of the proudest moments of my career. Teaching internationally for the first time was also a huge milestone , I still remember the feeling of walking into a room in a whole new country and realising people had shown up for me. It was surreal.

How do you maintain your energy and fitness while travelling? Do you have any go-to routines or meals?

I always make sure to stretch, even a quick full-body mobility session makes such a difference. I’ve also learned the importance of scheduling in proper rest and recovery days. When you’re always teaching or performing, recovery is just as important as training.

What are some of the most exciting or rewarding projects you’ve worked on in your career so far?

Honestly there is a lot. From teaching overseas, to launching my own studio, to directing full-scale visuals it’s all been built from scratch through hard work and consistency. I think the most rewarding part isn’t one project, as a teacher it’s seeing dancers walk out of my classes feeling stronger, sexier, and more confident than they came in. That’s what makes it worth it.

Have you had the opportunity to work with any artists or choreographers who have significantly impacted your career?

Definitely. I’ve been lucky to work and connect with some amazing creatives who’ve inspired me not just with their talent but with their work ethic and leadership. Collaborating with other choreographers always pushes me to level up and see things differently.

Can you share any particularly challenging or gratifying performances or choreography you’ve been involved with?

Most of my work is centred around teaching, so I always push myself physically in my own choreography, I believe I can’t expect my students to go full out unless I’m leading by example. But when I injured my knee, it forced me to completely shift the way I moved. I had to strip things back, adapt my usual style, and find new ways to express myself without relying on the tricks and intensity I was used to. Rebuilding from that was both mentally and physically tough, learning to trust my body again and finding confidence in a different way. It taught me so much about growth, versatility and resilience as both a dancer and a teacher.

What are you currently working on or planning for the future?

Right now I’m planning my end of 2025 and early 2026 international workshops, launching a company training group and working on an exciting concept video and a live performance, I can’t say too much yet, but I’m really excited for this new chapter!

Do you have any upcoming performances or collaborations that you’re excited about?

Right now, I’ve got a few exciting collab classes lined up with other teachers, a new collaboration video in the works, and I’m preparing for a live performance where some of my students will be hitting the stage with me. It’s a busy time, but I’m really focused on building community, pushing creativity, and creating more opportunities for the dancers around me. Watch this space.

How do you stay motivated and inspired when working on new projects or routines?

I’ve learned that trying to force creativity rarely works so I let the ideas come naturally. When I’m really vibing with a song or concept, I get in the studio and just start moving. I also love watching other dancers and performers to stay inspired, my students also really inspire me & keep me motivated. It’s really important that I take time off and step away from dance when I need to. Operating through burnout never leads to good work, and it definitely doesn’t make me feel creative. But when I give myself space to rest, I always come back with fresh ideas and a new level of excitement.

What are some of your favourite dancewear or accessories that you can’t live without?

Black briefs and a bikini top is such a staple combo that I can wear over and over again. And of course, knee pads. After recovering from a knee injury, you’ll never catch me without them again!

Which CXIX garments that you love/find especially useful or comfortable for dancing?

The Garter Tops are one of my absolute faves so flattering and supportive. I also love the Cora Cheeky Bottoms, they fit so well and always make me feel snatched.

Do you have any essential items you always bring with you when travelling or on tour?

My flexi band, heels, knee pads, a fire outfit, and my tripod because if I don’t film it, did it even happen?

When is your birthday?

12th July — Cancer baby through and through
