We are pleased to announce the appointment of Adam Lin as Fashion Designer joining the Creatures of XIX brand.
Adam, a 25 year old Taiwanese National who has spent the last 8 years in Melbourne and currently resides in Singapore, graduated from TAFE Queensland in Fashion Design and Technology, specialising in stretch-wear. As well as a Talented Fashion Designer, Adam's passions extend to Dance and Pole Dance. Having an Internationally renowned award winning Pole Dancer will be a huge asset to the team, and to a brand whose DNA is about creating pieces designed for movement.
Adam will work alongside Harriet Wolf, who has so far been responsible for all collections as sole designer. Together, the duo will drive the brand forward and create iconic and statement collections, with both influencing and elevating the style the brand is known for, striving always for the next level. Adam will present his first collection in February '21, releasing the brands first Valentines Collection.
Adam is no stranger to the Creatures of XIX team. The 2018 collaboration 'Creatures of XIX by AdamL.' marked the start of a great relationship, with a highly sought after Limited Edition Collection for which Adam brought to life from concept to the final pieces. Inspired by the classic streetwear print, bandana paisley, Adam hand drew the defining paisley print incorporating the XIX logo, and the collection showed the brand how powerful collaboration and multiple influences can be. Deep in the archives, there's an amateur vlog of this time showing snippets of the the design process and then BTS to the shoot in China Town Sydney, view it here.
Adam was also a teacher at the 2019 Creatures Choreography Camp in the UK. After working, holidaying and showing the same desire to have fun and create (see bath shoot together), the Creatures of XIX team are pretty well acquainted with Adam, his style and design talents.
Adam has a style that resonates with Creatures of XIX and vice versa, and has embraced the brands core values. With his knowledge of pole and movement, combined with his expertise in fashion design, Adam will be designing many of next years collections and will also head up the Foxbox.
The team are thrilled to welcome him. The brand is truly gearing up for an inspired future that you won't want to take your eyes off.
